Forum Posting for Backlinks and….Money!

Forum posting is basically you just write about topics that you found interesting and then make backlinks to your own blog’s URL. And at the end, hopefully, you’ll receive a lot of traffic that way.

But in today’s rapid changing and developing in internet business,it is harder than ever for blog owner to get organic traffic and backlinks. The web is much bigger than ever, and competition is extremely fierce. In addition, you are fighting with pay per click advertising for visitors as well. It may take a year or more for your blog to show up in the top 10 of search engine results. If the topic of your site is so highly competitive, you might not show up higher than the first 20 results ever. And, this is more important, it’s so difficult to get backlinks to your PR0 or PR1 blog, especially if they were PR3 or higher.
This is the reason in which it’s important for you to start blowing your own horn on forums. Your first step is to start looking for the most popular forums on your blog topic and sign up. Start taking part in conversations on forum topics you are interested in. Mention posts from your own blog articles, and make backlink to it. Don’t forget, you should put your blog’s URL at the end of each post you make, or put it in your forum signature. If you actually say something important to them, people will visit your site. But if you just look like a spammer, most likely you will be banned from the forum. People will respect you to know that you are saying something useful in your blog articles. They will know that you aren’t just spamming for traffic or backlinks and you will make countless friends in your field of interest, who will happy to make organic backlink to your blog naturally.

Knowing the powerful impact of forums posting to building backlinks, it came to my mind is it possible to harness this trend into a profitable ones. Just remember to look for teh a dofollow forum when you are going to put your url, otherwise it is just useless because search engine won’t be counting them.

Form posting is a great way to get back links. Paul U made a great to always make sure that they are dofollow. Should also always make sure not to make your comments spamey. If you’re going to comment always make sure to add something to add something of value to the conversation.

Hey, really interesting read, thanks! I have never thought about renting out signature space before, that’s a neat idea. I know how important it is to contribute in forums though. I think it’s important to invest proper time in it though. It’s easy to get inpatient and appear like a spammer, when all you really want to do is tell people about your website, often just because you are very proud of it. It’s also very hard to know if all your efforts are actually paying off at all. But building backlinks and getting visitors to your website is a long term approach. It probably won’t make you money over night, but after lots and lots of reading and posting the theory is that it will be worth it.
Thanks for the post though, I feel re-inspired to start posting more.

Ye do follow forums are great for. Just google for “list dofollow forums”. My favorite one is Digital Point. Just post naturally not for the backlinks.
