In building a profitable blog it is one major factor to have main keyword for our blog. After deciding the right keywords for your blog, you have to know exactly to place all your blog keywords on your blog that search engine easy to find these keywords and rank your pages according to your keywords search query. The following are places where keywords should be used on your blog pages. The first four items are more important which Google giving more weight to keywords found in the title and link anchor text than any other locations.

Title : <TITLE>your keywords</TITLE>. Keywords should appear as first or second word in the title.

Link (Anchor) Text : <A HREF>your keywords</A>. The clickable portion of links

Headings : <H1>your keywords</H1>, <H2>your keywords</H2>,etc. Use CSS file to control the size of heading text

The first (20 words) paragraph of page : <BODY><P>your keywords</P>. Bolding and/or italicizing keywords also make them more important

Last paragraph of page : <P>your keywords</P></BODY>

Drop-down boxes : <FORM><OPTION>your keywords</OPTION></FORM>

Domain URLs : <A HREF=”http://www.yourkeywords.com/”></A>

Folder and File name : yourkeywords.html, yourkeywords.jpg

Image ALT text : <IMG SRC=” “ ALT=”yourkeywords”>. This is used for graphical links.

Besides the title of a page, Google places special importance on the use of keywords in the text of links. This brings you out to have to structure your links strategy correctly. Ideally, you should only use text links on your site as opposed to graphical button links. Google looks for keywords contained in link anchor text that is the clickable portion of the link. Google cannot see graphic-based links – that all it has to go on is the ALT attribute for image tags which does not carry as much weight.

Keywords in link text should match keywords found on the page that the link points to – especially in the title of the page.

Here is the ideal text-based link structure for Google :

<A HREF=”yourkeywords.html”>your keywords</A>

And if you are using graphic-based link on your blog page, be sure and fillin the ALT text attribute, as follows :

<A HREF=”yourkeywords.html”><IMG SRC=”yourkeywords.gif” ALT=”yourkeywords” BORDER=”0”></A>

As the owner of a blog you may have realized that through the entire process of search engine submission to writing descriptions of your blog you will always be writing in a shorter form known as blurb. Blurb is a small paragraph on a blog homepage that is specifically written for search engine spiders but still make reasonable sense to human readers.

This spider food blurbs is easy to implement and will trigger better ranking for the keywords you want to rank high for the search engines. In addition to your content for human visitors, you can add a keyword or keyword-phrase-rich paragraph at the top or bottom of a page that will make sense to a visitor and feed the search engine spiders as well. The blurb briefs as much information as possible into a small amount of space. Whenever you have a chance to write a blurb, especially if it is a kind of promotion for your blog you should always make sure that it is nicely optimized with keywords in mind.

As of creating the blog title, there are also two kinds of blurbs: the onpage blurb that is found on a page in your site and the offpage blurb that is submitted to search engines. An onpage blurb that is written on a web page is ideally about 600 words long, never shorter than 250 words and never longer than about 900. An offpage blurb is about 250 words long and appears as a short description of what your blog is about on a search engine. It functions as a short but concise summary of the entire contents of your blog document.

However the trend lately is for even shorter blurbs, especially when it comes to submitting your site to search engines. Some descriptive blurbs for you site can be as short as 160 characters. Both your onpage and offpage blurbs should be loaded with keywords. Boosting all of your content with keywords is essentially what search engine optimized content is. But be creative and create informative paragraph using your keywords or phrase as much as possible otherwise you would be considered as search engine spam.

Creating blog’s titles is an art but it is even more of a craft when it comes to incorporating search engine optimization into the mix. The first thing that you need to know is that writing titles for promoting what’s on your blog pages is very different then writing material for others media. The blog’s pages titles are accessed by search engines and are not listed by alphabetical order. Also unlike ordinary advertising, a catchy title or catch phrase may not be as effective as a more boring or to-the-point phrase.

As a new blogger you need to know that there are two types of titles you are dealing with :

1. The Onpage Title. This is the title that sits at the top of your blog page that needs to be both human visitor’s friendly and search-engine-robot-friendly. The In-Context Title is the title that is featured on your actual home page. Let’s just say you have the title “Make Money Online” home page. This page displays your logo, a picture and a description of your blog that actually relates to your URL. The purpose of your site is obvious to the reader that you are making money online from your blog.

2. The Offpage Title. The offpage title is the one that you will submit to the search engines and it is a title that you are often asked for when you submit your sites to the search engines manually. This is the title that is displayed by search engines or in archive pages after a search. It usually appears onscreen as a fragment and as part as a long sorted list. If you can’t deal with a search-engine-robot-friendly title for your web pages, many search engines will simply display your title as “Home Page”. You could also end up with a non-logical fragment from somewhere on your site such as a phrase from a banner or your site’s design template. This does not exactly impress people to your site.

However when you write an offpage title you need to keep in mind that is for the benefit of the search engine robots that crawl the internet whenever anyone searches for the term “make money online”. You can’t rely on graphics or anything else to entice search engine robots to your site. All they are going to see is a phrase that has to concisely and distinctively express the essence of your blog in just a few words. Unlike the onpage title, the offpage title has to carry the full weight of describing the page’s contents of your blog.

Nowadays there are many bloggers still find difficulties on how to make money from blogging. Actually, the whole picture of making money blog is simple :

Step – 1 : Create your blog
Step – 2 : Bring traffic to your blog by doing SEO techniques which could improve your search engine result page rank,
Step – 3 : Put some pre-selling affiliate links on your blog
Step – 4 : Monetize your blog.

But before you rush into monetization, there is something you must take care of, otherwise you’ll rush in vain. If your blog has a lot of traffic, you may need to focus only for how to monetize it. And the way of monetization is simple, something like placing banners, affiliate text link, Google Adsense, or writing paid reviews. What you have to realize is all of them is really step-by-step approaching. Monetizing will work only when you make a good success in every step described above.

So, what kind of blog can make money? The answer is any kind of blog! A well-prepared blog!. What to prepare? Why not just posting? If you just blog and don’t care things to prepare, maybe you are not serious about making money from your blog. So, before you blog, consider these 3 questions and answers :

1. What topic you are going to write about ? Are many people want to know about that topic?

Answering this question, do a little bit of research before you write. This is called “keyword research”. There are free tools fit for keyword research. Take a little bit of time to find what kind of keyword people are using when they want to look for information about how to make money from blog. This keyword research has two fold benefit. One is that it helps you find what kind of topic people want to read. The other is that by optimizing those keywords you’ll have better chance to be positioned high in search engine result page.

2. With that topic, what product or link am I gonna introduce?

To answer this question, think about what monetization method you are going to use. Are you going to introduce an affiliate program, placing advertising banners, seling an e-book, placing Adsense code or write paid reviews?

3. And how am I gonna do that?

Here is the word “presell” emphasized. In blogging, though you want to sell something or want your visitor to click links, don’t rush it. What do you do if you see a blogger is doing nothing but a sales pitch?. You leave him once, don’t you? So presell is the key of how to write. It is something like creating a worm mind to your suggestion.

If you want to make money from your blog, start writing it only after you know what keyword is related to your topic and what kind of monetization you can apply. This will bring huge differences. As a simple conclusion, you can build a making money blog which is :

1. a blog talking about the topic many people searching for which can be achieved by keyword research
2. a blog that uses the the keyword in the homepage and post pages so that search engines can easily crawl
3. a blog that presells products or services which generating warm mood to the visitors

A couple days ago, one of my friend asking me how to make a blog which can be run to make money from internet. The first question I asked him is whether he has bad credit cards or not. When he answered “Yes”, I suggest him to apply for new credit card first and then come back again to me later. Why I did this? Here are the the reason.

In today’s online activities, having a good credit card history is a must because every transaction we made online will require the use of credit card.. In blogging for making profit also requires you to have a good credit card scores account. Having a good credit card scores, it’s easier for you to buy a domain name and webhosting account by online transaction without ever going to the bank and do the money transfer. Then all of your transaction will be processed promptly and your domain name and webhosting account will be ready for you to build in one day.

Another reason for you to have a good track of credit card account is if you are running a blog to make money from it by monetizing it through various affiliate links, then you need to have an online transaction payment system as well such as Paypal. Using Paypal, account all the payments you get from your affiliate network will be sent to your Paypal account. Setting up for a Paypal account, you will be required to submit your credit card account as an alternative for your bank account. And Paypal firstly track the history of your credit card scores. If they found it clear, they will approve your application immediately.

From this point of view, for you to be succeeded in making profit from your blog, it is highly recommended for you to avoid bad credit cards. For this reason I suggest my friend to go to site which provides solutions for someone whom having bad credit cards. Here he can choose and apply for the best credit card offers they provide and get some useful advise on how to use and manage his credit card usage wisely.

Blogging has come to be one of the best way to convey informations, opinions, thoughts and even way of making money. In order to get succeed in blogging, bloggers should likely increase their exposure by following some simple sticky blogging tips. There are no hard and fast rules on how to blog successfully.

Here are 8 sticky tips bloggers must do :

1. Stick to your topic
Define a topic for your blog and stick to it. Your readers will be interested in the content that relates to a specific-defined theme or loosely-defined topic of interest This will ensure that you create a loyal following of interested readers.

2. Stick to be informative
If you are creating an impression that you are a prominent resources about a specific topic, be sure that you stay current on news and facts for your reputation is at stake. If you are offering an opinion, be sure to qualify your post in order to make it clear that the content you provided is intended as an editorial.

3. Stick to Freshness
There is a saying, “Old news is not news”. It is important to make sure that the information presented is currently updated and accurate.

4. Stick to a schedule
Create a schedule and stick to it. Bear in mind that blogging requires time and effort. Readers are returning to find an updated information otherwise they find another blog with similar content. New blogs and RSS feeds are popping up on a daily basis. So, keep your hard-developing audience and community to stay on your blog regularly.

5. Stick to simplicity
Keep your posts and blog entries clear and easy to understand. Do not put your post with content which overwhelmingly contained with full of high expressions, idioms and acronyms which make your audience confused with. Sometimes a little explanation goes a long way.

6. Stick to Keyword
Increase your blog visibility on search engine by including related keywords in the title of the blog. Use the title as a headline to attract interest. Each item post should have a title that will attract attention but still be relevant to the post.

7. Stick to Quantity
In order to attract the attention of search engines, you will need to develop content and substance. A headline or simple sentence is not going to generate the interest of readers or help with search engine ranking. Be sure to archive old blog posts to develop a large portal of similarly-themed content.

8. Stick to RSS Feed
RSS Feed will increase your blog’s reach. It is important that you include your blog’s content in an RSS Feed directories to increase readership and distribution.

Mostly blog audiences are small but with time and regular updates audiences will grow subsequently. You may have only a few hundred readers, but people who return regularly are generally interested in what you write about. So, keep it sticky!

In building backlinks from comments, what exactly your main goal is? Driving traffic or just getting vote from high PR site? Are you concerned to whether your comments were using ‘no follow’ or not?
For many bloggers do not worry if there is a “no follow” attribute attached to the link. But if you are concerned about this - one way is to look at the source code to see if it has the “no follow” tag. I usually copy the whole source code of the page to my text editor and then do a simple “no follow” search.

There is a great little free comment tool called Comment Kahuna, which will search blogs and tell you if they have the “no-follow” attribute or not. It will also give you the PageRank of each blog post. If you’re going to use blogs as a source of your backlinks, I suggest you try Comment Kahuna. It absolutely will make the task much easier and, amazingly,… it’s Free!.

Comment Kahuna will search the web for thousands of blogs based on your criteria on keywords and page ranks. Once it displays the sites with good page ranks, you can click them one by one and add the comments. The higher the site’s page rank, the better it works for you in the long run to improve your own search ranks.

What actually did by this tool is just the searching process of finding high rank sites, opening the page and commenting right there within the tool and in most cases defaulting values for comments (your name, email address, website etc) - so it’s like you are spending hardly 20 secs to create one comment for one back link.

Just as a reminder, it’s an ethical code to read the post before commenting otherwise your comment will be treated as spam because mostly the comments are moderated.

The major search engines such as Google and Yahoo! place a large importance on one way links to determine rankings. Each link to your site is like a vote and the more votes you have, the higher you will rank. This brings that building backlinks is an essential task for most bloggers. There are many ways to get backlinks to your blog, and one of the easy and quite simple to do is by harnessing the Google Alerts.

Google Alerts is a free program run by Google that allows you to keep track of any topic on the web. You select your keywords and Google will alert you via email whenever links or web page content containing your selected topics appear anywhere on the web.

Suppose that you have a site on “make money” then you would create a Google Alert for those keywords. Google will alert you by email whenever a new link or web page content related to those keywords appears on the web. This is a valuable source of potential linking partners because many of those links are blogs that will allow comments with a link back to your site. Google Alerts will probably send you 10-20 links each day, depending on the popularity of your keywords. Just go to these blogs and see if you can leave a comment with some valuable additional information on what’s been discussed.

Your main purpose should be getting targeted traffíc back to your site and any link PR should be secondary. Always put the reader in priority and don’t talk about your site or put your affiliate link on your comments - just join and enhance the discussion with valuable suggestion then you will be rewarded with traffic and a link. But make sure you get your targeted keywords in the anchor text of the backlinks.

Finding quality backlinks is might be the most tedious job for most bloggers. It takes time and patience. By using Google Alerts you can have relevant keyword related links emailed to you each day. Use this information to help build your backlinks in relevant related blogs. Do this consistently over a period of time and your site will get noticed and ranked higher.
